March is coming up very quickly! We have lots of awesome events planned, and we hope you can join in on the fun!

Movie Night

Our meeting this Wednesday will be cancelled, and instead, we will have a movie night the following Thursday, March 2nd, at 6 PM in SA6012 (not SA8002!). We will be watching the iconic movie "Mean Girls," the winner of our poll. Feel free to bring your own snacks!

Secret 3K Run/Walk

Last year, our club volunteered and participated in the Secret 3K run/walk, and we want to do it again this year! Held during the week of International Women's Day, we run or walk during the Secret 3K to celebrate our right to be free to run.

The event starts at 6:30 PM, but we will meet a little earlier at the Nicholas Sheran Lake Picnic Shelter at 6 PM on Wednesday, March 8th to volunteer and participate in the event. If you need a ride from the University to the park, please let us know in the WhatsApp group chat.

Volunteering could involve being a race guide, setting up snacks, and bin registrations, among others. We will also have the opportunity to walk or run, and maybe even take a group picture at the end!

This event is for everyone, so feel free to invite your friends and family!

Rotaract Elections

The end of the academic year is coming up, which means that, very soon, we will be having our nominations and elections for the next academic year's Rotaract board members! Ask any of our board members about their positions if you're interested in becoming a board member.

Youth in Action Grant Review Meeting

For those interested in reviewing youth grants, we will be meeting on Thursday, March 9, from 2:30-3:30 PM at the Community Foundation Office (Unit #50, 1202 2nd Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J0E3). If you can't make it in-person but are still interested, please let us know and we will send out a Zoom link.
