Our AGM was held in Gallaghers Kilkishen. It was great to meet in person around a roaring fire, drinks, sandwiches and a few crisps . It was a lively meeting with lots of discussion, new members elected and other members reelected to the committee.

Kevin Ryan (Treasurer) and Brendan Glynn (Secretary) have both served 3 years on the committee and were required to step down. I would like to thank them for their commitment and time to the club as part of the committee. Billy O Mahoney (Treasurer) and Micheal Collins (Secretary) were elected. Also elected on the night was Matt Stenson as Sailing Secretary and Vicky Stafford as Junior Sailing Officer.

Boat Insurance

Important Notice : You must have your own separate boat insurance specific to your boat and this is a strict requirement for you and your boat to take part in any activities at the Club

This is essential insurance cover to store a boat or take part in club events a basic requirement when racing sailing in Cullaun or travelling to other Irish Sailing clubs regattas or events.

The club doesn't endorse individual insurance companies craftinsure.ie seems to be the place sailors are using for competitive dinghy Insurance. One example / sample from the our club last year, A Laser worth €2000, cost 80 euro annually to Insure. Insuring you boat under your house insurance does not qualify as insurance for your boats sailing / racing activities at any club.

Looking forward getting back on the water and catching up with everyone
