A new stargazing pavilion launch event on 4 Mar
This new commission, for a stargazing pavilion at Talkin Tarn, draws upon the history and materials used in traditional round house construction to bring a new place to rest, reflect and look up.
Drop in at the launch event in the Talkin Tarn Education Cabin from 10am to 2pm where you can meet the team of designers, makers, and crafts people, discuss the design, and find out about your opportunities to get involved.
As part of the commission, there will be a programme of events where you can learn traditional green wood working skills and be a part of the pavilion build team.
