Registration for Evolving molecular bioscience education is now open! We are excited to be hosting this joint event with FEBS, in association with the IUBMB in Manchester, UK, on 25 - 26 May 2023. Save the date for joint EBI/UCam research symposium - 21st September 2023
A new one day symposium on Thursday 21st September 2023 to explore collaborative research and future opportunities between the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) and the University of Cambridge. The symposium will be held at the Wellcome Genome campus in Hinxton. Further details on the programme and how to register will be circulated in the coming weeks so for now, please save the date.

Award Lectureships for Early Career Academics (close 23 January)
These Award Lectures aim to promote open and informed discussion of science and related disciplines. The selected lecturers receive an all-expenses paid trip to the festival where they will present their lecture, as well as public speaking coaching and a £250 honorarium. Awards are available in seven different areas: Social sciences; Engineering, technology and industry; Environmental sciences; Agricultural, biological and medical sciences; Physical sciences and mathematics; Digital innovation; Science and the arts. Science Media Centre Experts
The Science Media Centre (SMC) in London is looking to increase its pool of experts. The SMC has an extensive database of experts who provide comment on breaking stories, emerging issues, helping ensure that science is accurately represented in the media. Supported and funded by the University, the SMC exists to make sure that the best experts are heard by the public when science is in the news.
