Neuro Challenge believes in A Better Approach to Parkinson’s, which is based on support, therapeutic activities and education. What this means is that if you seek out support from your peers and professionals, exercise your body and your voice and ensure you know the latest information about Parkinson’s it will help you have a better quality of life, and that’s a Better Approach to Parkinson’s.
Speaking of education, March marks the month that we present the largest educational offering of it’s kind, The Parkinson’s Expo on March 25th. This is an all-day event that is offered as both an in-person conference and a virtual live conference. The Expo reaches people all over the globe with the latest information about Parkinson’s. All offered at no charge to attendees thanks to our generous sponsors, donors and partners.
The 6th annual Parkinson’s Expo line up of speakers is very exciting. They will be covering topics such as sleep disturbances, getting the most out of your neurologist visit, safe hospitalizations, non-motor symptoms, managing off episodes and integrative care approach to chronic pain. Also, at The Parkinson’s Expo we will celebrate 15 years of serving the Parkinson’s community with an opening address by founder, Dr. Dean Sutherland. Doreen and Dr. Dean Sutherland founded Neuro Challenge Foundation to ensure that people had support and connections beyond the medical care they were receiving. They envisioned Neuro Challenge to focus on overall quality of life, thus the organization’s focus is on support, education, and therapeutic activities, as well as Care Advising.

 Neuro Challenge Care Advisors offer free individualized guidance to people with Parkinson’s, their caregivers and families.
The cornerstone of Neuro Challenge Foundation's programming is our Care Advisors. The Care Advisors help people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers navigate the complexities of managing the disease by providing individualized support and community resource referrals in your area.
Care advising is offered FREE to all members of the Parkinson's community at any stage of the journey.
