We are looking to connect with all FIRST alumni, from any program - including this year's seniors! Please email alumni@kyfirstrobotics.org with your name, email address, team number & name, and your final competition year and we will add you to our database. We are planning some really cool events that we want you to be a part of! You don't want to miss out on these opportunities!
FLL NEWS:
What a great season!!! Congratulations to all of the FLL teams that participated in the Super Charged Season! And thank you to NKU CINSAM for hosting such a great championship event! It is always so exciting to see what students have been working on, and we always leave these events so impressed with the hard work of teams and their mentors. The future looks very bright with these young engineers leading the way!
We look forward to more great things from Kentucky FLL teams - best of the luck to the FIVE KY teams that are moving on to National and International Competitions. We will be cheering for you!
****BIG NEWS****
Thanks to a very generous grant from Johnson & Johnson, ALL Kentucky FLL Challenge and Explore teams that competed this season and register again next season will receive funding to help offset your expenses!
FLL Explore teams will receive $50
FLL Challenge teams will receive $100
Huge thank you to Johnson & Johnson for supporting STEM Education for KY youth!!!!! All FLL teams will receive a survey in the next few weeks that will allow your team to receive this grant. Any questions about this grant can be sent to kelli@kyfirstrobotics.org.
Congratulations to all the Kentucky FIRST LEGO League Challenge teams who competed in the Kentucky FLL State Championship hosted February 4th , 2023 by CINSAM at Northern Kentucky University's campus.

FRC NEWS:
- FRC TEAMS: Does your team have a mentor from a Kentucky University (public or private) AND have a representative who held a volunteer role in a FIRST qualifying tournament held in the state of Kentucky during the season (FLL or FTC)? If so, email Kentucky Senior Mentor Jeff Slaton (jslaton@firstinspires.org) for details about how you can apply for a team grant.

The following dates have been released for the upcoming world tournaments for the next two seasons!
2023: April 19-23, 2023
2024: April 17-20, 2024
Please note that there will only be one world tournament for both seasons. They will both take place in Houston, TX!
KY teams do not need to set up their own non-profit in order to accept donations! Kentucky FIRST Robotics is a registered non-profit. We can work with you to accept donations on your behalf, which we can do at little or no cost to you. For more information send an email to kelli@kyfirstrobotics.org.

There is a wealth of knowledge and helpful information located in the FIRST Resource Library. If you need help starting a team flyer, work on fundraising or help with programming it is there along with lots of other helpful information. -Another great source for information are the Share and Learn Facebook pages. There is one for each program FLL Explore through FRC. This started out as a outreach project for a team but has really grown to be a wonderful resource for teams. Be sure to check it out!
