#UCLGMeets

From vision to collective action

The Power of We showed during our Retreat in Barcelona in both the collective vision and in the actions and alliances we agreed together for the coming months.  300 local and regional leaders, professionals and their partners gathered from February 20-25 to prepare the action plan for the coming years of the organization. Four months ago, in October 2022, the UCLG General Assembly adopted the Pact for the Future of Humanity as the final document of the 7th UCLG Congress held in Daejeon, Republic of Korea.

The main objective of the UCLG Annual Retreat was to unfold the vision of the Pact within its commitment to common humanity and "the power of collective action, empowerment, shared ownership, co-creation and international cooperation and solidarity." And we succeeded!
