Dear Residents,

Yard waste season has begun again.  Beginning Monday, March 6th, American Disposal will again be collecting yard waste separately from trash on Mondays through December.

Below are guidelines from the County and American Disposal on yard waste collection:
•    Includes leaves, plants, flowers, grass clippings, wood chips, and shrub, tree and yard trimmings.
•    Must be placed in biodegradable paper yard bags or loose in a personal container labeled "Yard Waste".  Yard waste in plastic bags will not be accepted.
•    The yard waste collection program is seasonal and will run from March through December each year.  Christmas trees will be collected during the first 2 weeks of January.
•    There is a 10 bag limit on paper yard bags per household per week.

If grass clippings or other yard waste is mixed in with garbage, American Disposal will not collect garbage for that household.  Repeated instances may result in monetary charges, as American Disposal has the right to pass county-mandated fines onto the Association and the Resident.  More information can be found at www.pwcva.gov/yardwaste.

Sincerely,
LMROA Board of Directors
