Grants and funding
SATC Regional Event Fund
This program aims to support a number of large and small events that promote South Australia and its regions as tourism destinations. Grants between  $5,000 and $50,000 are available in two categories for events being held in 2023-2026.

Indigenous Visual Arts Industry Support program
This program aims to support a professional, viable and ethical Indigenous visual arts industry with strong participation by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Grants between $5,000 to $80,000 are available per annum.

Indigenous Contemporary Music Program
This program aims to provide development opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians and bands throughout Australia. It will establish support mechanisms for individuals and bands, and provide opportunities and skills for ongoing income and employment pathways in the music industry.

Flight Centre Business Travel
This program aims to support the ongoing growth and success of SMEs. The major prizes include Virgin Australia travel credits up to $20,000, Virgin Australia memberships, accommodation and car hire credits, luggage and more.

Energy Efficient Grants
The Australian Government is launching the first round of $16 million in Energy Efficiency Grants. From $10,000 to $25,000 will be available for small and medium businesses to monitor energy use and upgrade or replace equipment, to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs.

Recycling Infrastructure Grants
are available to South Australian businesses and local governments that recover, handle and process recyclable materials with the opportunity to invest in equipment, technology and processes to respond to the prevailing market conditions.

Recycling Modernisation Fund Grants - Recycling Infrastructure for soft plastics
Funding is available through the Australian Government’s $190 million Recycling Modernisation Fund to improve recycling outcomes and address critical gaps in Australia’s recycling infrastructure. This funding program is administered by Green Industries SA.

SA Building Upgrade Finance
This program aims to assist building owners with environmental upgrades to non-residential buildings, and with restoration and upgrades to heritage buildings. Under this mechanism, a local council, a building owner and a financier can voluntarily enter into a building upgrade agreement.

Optus Business SME Tech Adoption Grants
Optus Business announced a $15,000 grant, in partnership with Showcase SA, for SMEs to support them in the adoption of new technology into their business and to help them evolve and address the challenges in their current economic climate.

Growing South Australia Companies Program
This program is designed for CEOs/MDs and executives of small and medium sized companies based in South Australia. It enables executives to identify growth opportunities, overcome business challenges, drive competitive advantage and compete in a global marketplace.

Circular Impact Accelerator
The Circular Impact Accelerator is an intensive 6-week program which brings together an array of local and national expertise and content, to create a powerful social enterprise design course, for people who have an idea to pursue and need support to explore their concept further. Applications open on 28 March 2023.

The Local Government Association Procurement LGAP team coordinates this statewide. New panels are generally advertised via the SA Tenders and Contracts website and we recommend suppliers self-register to ensure they are notified of any relevant tender opportunities.
