Saturday, April 15 at 10:00 am:  A reading presenting the YA story collection   Ab(solutely) Normal, from Candlewick Press, with contributions from several local authors. (Free entry, suggested ages 14 and up;  RSVP here)


Tuesday, April 18 at 5:00 pm:  A reading and book signing for Growing Up Getty: The Story of America’s Most Unconventional Dynasty  by Vanity Fair writer-at-large James Reginato. (Free entry,  RSVP here)


Friday, April 21 at 5:00 pm:  A reading and book signing for the memoir Another Appalachia: Growing Up Queer and Indian in a Mountain Place  by local author Neema Avashia. (Free entry,  RSVP here)


Wednesday, April 26 at 4:00 pm:  A reading and book signing celebrating the launch of Make Way  by Angela Burke Kunkel, a picture book biography of Make Way for Ducklings  author Robert McCloskey.  (Free entry, all ages.  RSVP here)


Thursday, April 27 at 5:00 pm:  A poetry reading celebrating the launch of ­­­­the debut chapbook by local poet—and our very own Beacon Hill Books bookseller—Mollie O’Leary. Featuring readings from Beacon Hill Books bookseller Rachel M. Dillon and her BU MFA colleagues Bailey Martin and Brian Flynn. (Free entry,  RSVP here)


Friday, April 28 at 4:00 pm:  A book launch for Betrayal By the Book,  the second book in the Swallowtail Legacy  middle-grade mystery series by Michael Beil. Writing workshop with the author included. (Free entry, suggested ages 7 and up;  RSVP here)


Saturday, April 29 at 11:00 am:  Reading of The Flying Horse, a middle-grade novel by New York Times reporter Sarah Maslin Nir (Free entry, suggested ages 6-10;  RSVP here)
