Sutton Volunteer Showcase

2023 will see a huge national campaign called 'The Big Help Out' to raise awareness of volunteering.

"The Big Help Out" is a national bank holiday on Monday 8th May dedicated to volunteering. But this campaign will go far beyond just volunteering on the day itself. The build-up gives us all a once in a blue moon opportunity to promote and celebrate volunteering, in and around the London Borough of Sutton.

Here's how you can promote your organisation and volunteering opportunities ahead of "The Big Help Out" to the general public:

WHEN: Tuesday 18th April 2023; 2pm - 6pm
WHERE: Sutton Central Library

How can you get involved?

Have a space
Run a workshop/talk/activity
Promote any volunteering taster sessions or information sessions you might be able to offer around this time
Promote (and sign up volunteers for) any activity you are doing on Monday 8th May (national Bank Holiday) itself
