Bringing Neighbors Together to Build Community
|
April 2023 - Volume 14 Issue 4 www.wecandenver.org |
Hello West Colfax Neighbors!
Please join us on April 11 from 6:00-7:00 PM for our General Meeting; our topic is on our un-housed neighbors in West Colfax. We will be joined by representatives from the Colorado Coalition of the Homeless (CCH) to present on the causes and misconceptions surrounding homelessness, as well as sharing their experiences working directly with the un-housed in West Colfax. Denver Police District 1 Homeless Outreach Officer, Officer O’Connell, will be there to share his experiences working with the homeless population as well.
We hope you will join us for this important presentation and discussion on a topic that has been a concern in West Colfax (as well as in Denver and nation-wide). WeCAN hopes to work with its many community partners to address the issues facing our un-housed neighbors and help to find proactive solutions to mitigate the challenges these folks face, and work to keep everyone safe in West Colfax.
Warm Regards, WeCAN Board of Directors |
