The Challenge
Darren Mass is an entrepreneur who succeeded with his first venture - so much so that after he sold it, he was able to take three years off to regroup, learn how to coach other entrepreneurs and come up with his next idea.
Darren excels at finding and motivating the right people to implement his ideas flawlessly. He says he was successful the first time around because he had the right partners with him on the journey. His other great talent lies in generating ideas. He's a true visionary.
But he's not particularly motivated about preparing a business plan (eg. business model) that provides the strategic and operational details behind the idea. And it doesn't help that this time he wants to go it alone without partners.
Will Darren be able to overcome his concerns about putting a full plan behind his idea? Will he succeed the second time flying solo?
John will stress-test Darren's business model with nine questions that are simple to understand but sometimes very hard to answer. At the end of the test, John will score Darren's probability of success with the business as he currently conceives it.
