HumeLink community information sessions 21 February - 9 March 2023.

Please join us these drop-in sessions as we focus on sharing the preliminary information in the HumeLink Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

The final EIS will be placed on public exhibition in mid-2023.The final EIS will describe the environmental, economic and social impacts that could arise from the project during construction and operation, and proposes measures to manage, minimise or mitigate those impacts.

Once the environmental assessments are completed and the EIS is finalised, the Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) will place the EIS on public exhibition in mid-2023 and call for public submissions.

The public exhibition period in mid-2023 will be an opportunity for landowners, community, government agencies and other interested organisations to make a written submission and provide feedback on the project.

The HumeLink EIS includes detailed technical studies to address Government requirements. These sessions will introduce and provide preliminary information on the following technical studies:

  • landscape character and visual amenity
  • land use and property
  • agricultural land.

As these sessions are drop-in style, there won’t be a formal presentation, but our project team will be at each session.

If you would like to attend one of the sessions, please RSVP here.

If you are unable to attend these sessions, the HumeLink Project team will also be running a series of community information webinars. Dates and times of these webinars will be released in the coming weeks.
