Chamber Updates Event Registration Policy

Please note that beginning February 1, we implemented a nominal late fee for those who register less than one week (7 days) prior to each event. We will include with each event notice the date in which late fees will be incurred to ensure you have ample time to register. Registration deadlines ensure that we have accurate counts for food, seats, printed materials, attendee name tags and more. Leaders Edge: The Power of Mindset, Energy, and Attitude

Today’s business leaders are facing significant challenges such as economic instability, shifting workforce expectations and increased pressure from all stakeholders. Now, more than ever, it’s critical for leaders to have clarity of purpose and a compelling vision while identifying and embracing the key disciplines required to be an effective and successful leader.

High Performance, an HBK Company, is offering an executive coaching series designed to give Valley businesses a leadership edge.

Each quarter, High Performance will focus on a particular aspect of leadership excellence that has proven to be a critical determinate of success. The monthly sessions will take a deeper dive into common challenges leaders face, along with practical solutions to give you a path forward. Monthly sessions include group discussion, Q & A and specific action steps you can share with your team to begin transforming your organization.

And most importantly, this series provides you the opportunity to network and collaborate with local Valley business leaders to grow your business and impact the region.

Cybersecurity: A Business Killer with a People Cure

Wednesday, March 15 | 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Stambaugh Auditorium | 1000 Fifth Avenue, Youngstown
$30 per member | $40 per non-member

Featuring: Paul Hugenberg, Rea & Associates

Cybersecurity is a loaded term. It calls up visions of computer experts, thieves in hoodies with dark faces, lots of code writing. And while the root of the cybersecurity epidemic certainly has origins in these places, the reality of our current concerns can be alleviated with simple steps that are the responsibility of the rest of us. Not technical, not difficult, but often unknown. Most issues start with a simple click of an email; something we do 100s of times a day. There is a common theme in the cybersecurity communities that “people” are our greatest weakness, and people are our best control.” We will spend time talking about the risks cyber treats pose to business, why they are growing every year, and why we (everyone), has a role to play in helping our organizations avoid the bigger problems. We just need to know what to do.

The Regional Chamber and The Vindicator proudly present the 30th Annual ATHENA Award Program, celebrating the accomplishments of outstanding professional women in the Valley. Since its inception in our community, no other program has generated as much anticipation, visibility and admiration as this nationally recognized event.

The Valley's ATHENA Award Program—lauded as one of the top five largest in the country for our number of nominees and attendees—has honored more than 1,000 women over the past 29 years and stayed true to its mission every step of the way.

You are cordially invited to be an important part of the 2023 ATHENA festivities as a nominator and/or sponsor:

  • Identify, nominate and showcase a colleague who demonstrates the ATHENA qualities, which include professional accomplishment, community leadership and mentorship of other women.

  • Participate as a sponsor—a powerful marketing opportunity to enhance your organization's visible commitment to the community, leadership development and our Valley's success stories.

The 2023 ATHENA Award Dinner, which will be held May 18 at Waypoint 4180 in Canfield, includes a cocktail reception, dinner, recognition of all nominees and the announcement of this year's award recipient.

The remarkable success of the ATHENA program is a result of the participation and support of the business community. We are grateful for your past support as nominators and sponsors and look forward to your continued participation to expand and sustain this truly special program.
