Dear Colleagues:

Advocacy is at the very core of what we do as medical professionals. It’s our job to stand up for our patients and ensure that they’re receiving the best care possible. That’s why the College’s House of Delegates (HOD) works tirelessly to better serve patients by networking with more than 5,000 members across the country. We currently have 28 College state delegates and we’re looking to achieve our goal of one delegate from each state.

If you live/practice in Alaska, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Washington, or Wyoming, this is your opportunity to join the HOD and serve as a state delegate. We need you. Just a few hours each month could make a world of difference. Learn more about this position

Any College member in good standing can apply to be a delegate through the HOD nomination process. Be the eyes and ears of the College in your state. Delegates identify and address policy issues at the local, regional and state levels. They also advocate for those issues and ensure that lawmakers are working for our patients, our practices and the specialty. In addition, delegates serve as liaisons between local, state and regional societies and College leaders. But don’t worry! The College will supply you with all the training and tools you need to be successful.

We hope you’ll join us in amplifying allergists’ voices in your state today. Apply now through Feb. 28!
