Hi, <<First Name>> and the amazing volunteers of Baltimore Clayworks,

We could not do all that we do without you, the generous members of our community, who give their time and talents to expand our reach and help share the joy of clay.

We have a couple of upcoming opportunities to help forge relationships in our clay community. Read on to learn more.

As always, please reach out if you have questions, comments or just want to say “hi”!

Online Auction and Fundraising

American Craft Made/Baltimore, now in it's 46th year, is a don't miss contemporary craft event of the season. Join us March 3-5 at the Baltimore Convention Center. For one weekend only, explore jewelry, pottery, furniture, textiles, and other handcrafted pieces by seasoned and profession artists. Connect with artisans and fellow craft aficionados from across the country, explore pieces made by hand, and discover your next treasure

<<First Name>>, are you planning on attending Baltimore Marketplace at the American Craft Council? Would you like to chat with other potters and artists to share all about Baltimore Clayworks?

We have a limited number of tickets for volunteer Baltimore Clayworks Embassadors to join us at the ACC show next week. Your entry would be for the entire show. We will need help working our booth, talking to other potters and artists and asking for auction items for our Fall Online Auction fundraiser.

This is a great opportunity to help us out while enjoying the art and creativity at ACC.

Reach out to Matt Hyleck at matt.hyleck@baltimoreclayworks.com to reserve your ticket and help spread the word about our amazing work at Baltimore Clayworks.

Community Arts

Hello, <<First Name>>,

I am reaching out to find volunteers willing to work hands-on at the See Beyond Festival!

April 29th, 2023

10 am - 3 pm

Maryland School for the Blind

3501 Taylor Ave

Baltimore, MD 21236

We will be a part of the Artist Alley, focusing on art activities for festival goers. Volunteering for a two-hour shift would help us keep our table high energy and interactive. This event is expected to have over 2,000 attendees and we will be using air-dry clay to make small sculptures.

Shifts are:

10 am-12 pm

12 pm -3:30 pm

or stay the whole day!

Please share this with your friends and family so we can have the much needed support at our table!

Contact Christina.Marsh@baltimoreclayworks.org with questions or to confirm your time slot.

<<First Name>>, did you know…

Some of our most dedicated volunteers have a regular monthly direct debit donation set up at an amount that works for them. A manageable donation each months adds up to a hearty investment each year.

If you are interested in setting up a monthly donation, simply fill out the authorization form and send it back to Mj at maryjane.goetschius@baltimoreclayworks.org.
