2023 Championship Schedule & Point Races

Palm Beach County Golf Association announced the preliminary tournament schedule, featuring some of the top Palm Beach County and South Florida golf venues.

Regular Season will again highlight three divisions of Point Cup Races, which will be used to determine the season-long Open, Senior and Super Senior point champions, Tour Championship Invitations, PBCGA vs SFPGA SEC Smidt Cup Team and Player of the Year Honors.

In 2023 the PBCGA has announced an Official Partnership with THE GOLF CRYPT, JUPITER, a leading provider of 24/7 Indoor Golf Training Space featuring Track Man 4 technology based in Jupiter FL. With the increased support of the Association, The Golf Crypt will title sponsor the three Player of The Year Point Races.

The Full Schedule of Events will offer divisions of play for all ages: Juniors (10-18), Open (49 & younger), Senior (50-59), Super Senior (60-69), Legends (70 & older). Smidt Cup Champions!

Congratulations Team PBCGA!

The Smidt Cup is a team event where the PBCGA takes on the Southeast Chapter Professionals. It consists of 12 players. The top 10 from the open division plus the top 2 seniors make up the team. The format is Individual & Team Match Play.  In each foursome, there are three simultaneously played matches.  Each player has a single match, and each team has a better ball match.  Matches are scored using a Nassau point system, where the front nine of the golf course is worth a point, the back nine of the golf course is worth a point and the total 18 holes is worth a point.

11th Annual "Pricey" Par 3

Kick off Event

Each year the Palm Beach County Golf Association’s season begins with the Annual “Pricey” Par 3 event. Sponsored by World Golf Hall of Fame Member, Nick Price, the Four Ball competition will be hosted at Jupiter Dunes Golf Club.
 

FORMAT: 18-hole Four-Ball Stroke Play Championship (two person teams)

• Each player plays his own ball and the lower score of the partners is the team score for the hole. 
• If one partner fails to complete the play of a hole, there is no penalty.
• Amateurs and Professionals are welcome.
• No amateur status restrictions on this event.

2023 Hole-In-One Club

Season Long Event

Eligibility: Open to all Palm Beach County Golf Association Members. PBCGA Members must be in good standing.

Registration: Registration will stay open during the 2023 Tournament Season and will close with our last round of the Tour Championship.

Rules: Hole-In-Ones will only be honored for those that are made in PBCGA ONLY Events

Payout: All Hole-in-One’s by Hole-In-One Club Members will evenly split the purse at the end of the Season.

501(c)(3) Charitable Contributions
$468,000 + raised in Scholarships

PBCGA has partnered with Take Stock in Children – Palm Beach County to provide tuition scholarships for students to attend the Florida state college of their choice. Since 1976 over $468,000 has been raised by PBCGA supporters and over 185+ students have received tuition assistance! Thank you to all those that have contributed over the years.

High Schools Supported: Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Boca Raton, Dreyfoos & Dwyer

The program enrolls middle school, low-income students and helps them succeed by providing college and vocational scholarships, volunteer mentors, early intervention and long-term support. Scholarship recipients and their parents sign a performance contract pledging to stay in school, remain drug free, and out of trouble. Upon successful completion of the program, the students receive either a 4-year scholarship purchased through the Palm Beach County Golf Association.
