Swim warning for lakes in the Rotorua region

The warning issued last week for Holden’s Bay in Lake Rotorua has been extended today to include all of Lake Rotorua due to an algal bloom of cyanobacteria.

We’ve had an rawe (awesome) start to 2023, with two kuri adopted and two on hold Crossed fingers.
There’s still five kuri in need of a fur-ever home – check them out on our Rotorua Pound – Homeless Hounds Facebook group.
 
Dougie is an energetic pup that is also happy to chill and watch tv! He LOVES cuddles and is quite the social butterfly. If you want to learn more about Dougie, phone the Rotorua Pound on 07 348 4199.
