ART SWAP

Join us at the Old Colorado City library on March 11, 1-4pm for our monthly Art Swap. Come for a bit or stay all day!

Simply bring in a bag of used arts/crafts to the designated library for the month and SWAP it all out for new stuff. It’s all based on weight and no money is involved.

WARNING: These Saturday events are highly addictive.

MEET CASEY

Casey is one of our Studio Artists. He makes cool pottery and very cute babies.

“I have been making and teaching pottery in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs for the past 12 years. I worked as a public school Art Teacher for 7 of those years and have always really loved working with students of all ages. Since 2018 I have been working with my Dad and brother at our family jewelry shop while moonlighting as a potter. I inquired about studio space at Who Gives a Scrap while preparing for the arrival of my first child in November 2022. I'm currently taking a break from all social media so I can be more present with my amazing wife Katie and our wonderful son Billy. If someone is interested in buying or commissioning pottery with me their best bet is to find me in studio #11 on most Saturdays and Sundays. I also plan to start offering pottery lessons and workshops out of my space at WGAS sometime real soon.”
