Join Dr. Tina Bailey for a discussion and workshop coming up this Saturday, 2/25. This discussion will be on how art, life, and faith can be integrated authentically and respectfully for ourselves and in how we interact with others. Following the discussion, join Dr. Bailey for an interactive arts workshop exploring topics that come up during the discussion. Visual art materials will be provided. If you play an instrument, bring one. And wear comfortable clothing that will allow for movement. This will be an organic process. An RSVP is recommended. Go to www.fbc-sav.org/newsto RSVP. Or click the link below. Hope to see you there!
Rev. Dr. Kyle Reese will be available this Sunday, 2/26, for an important conversation with FBC members to discuss where we've been as a church and to listen to past stories - all in an effort to assist us during the pastoral search. It takes place at 12 noon in Lewis Hall. Lunch will be served for a cost of $12 per person.
Coming Up Soon
When you've been around for over 200 years, you've got some stuff to sell! FBC volunteers and staff have been busy cleaning, organizing, and rearranging items in the Educational Building and sanctuary. Now it's time for a much-needed Thrift Sale.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, 3/4, from 8:00 am - 12 noon, and come out to see us in the courtyard. Available items include antique furniture, vintage & retro decor, office supplies & furniture, glassware & mugs, decorations, and more (no additional items needed.) We'll see you there!
Prayer & Donation Request
for Earthquake Victims
Please pray for the many victims of the earthquake tragedies in Turkey and Syria. We know prayer is powerful, but they desperately need financial support and assistance as well. The CBF is encouraging us to provide emergency assistance during this dire situation as part of their Earthquake Response campaign. Will you please help?
