A WORD FROM PASTOR DAVE
Fellowship church,
We will continue to look into Acts 2:42-47 this Sunday. The early church was devoted to the apostles' teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. The word for devoted, means, "to continue to do something with intense effort, with the possible implication of despite difficulty—‘to devote oneself to, to keep on, to persist in.'" Would you take time this week, to ask yourself, "How devoted am I to these four things?" Are we willing to continue in these things as a church, even if it requires intense effort and despite difficulty? That is what the Lord is calling the church to be. It's not always easy to be devoted to these four, but if we persist in it, the fruit will be eternal and transformative.

Please pray for the people of Turkey and Syria, as another earthquake hit the region this week. Let's pray for the multiple revivals that have broken out recently at college campuses across the nation. And please pray for the Lord to revive our own hearts, to love Him above all things.

Parents of students in grades 6-12, it will soon be time for camp! This summer we are going to Centrifuge in Panama City Beach. The dates are June 18th-23rd. You can find more details and sign up here. There are still a few slots available!! The deposit is $75...and there may be scholarships available to help with the balance! Payments can be brought to the church office or given to Pastor Sam.
