HOPE Parents,

I am writing to make you aware that our school Charter Renewal meeting is on the Beaverton School District  agenda for Next Monday, Feb. 27.  During that meeting many volunteers will be testifying to the board about HOPE and why they should support our school in every way possible.  :Our request for Charter renewal is HERE.

In addition to the in person meeting, they will be accepting parent input online.  I am asking that you consider going to the LINK below and sharing your personal thoughts about HOPE and how we benefit this district/community.  The LINK opens tomorrow/Thursday at noon and is open until Monday at Noon.  Your comments are then shared with the school board members for their evening meeting.

I know you all have some great thoughts already, but I will just share a couple things that might make it easier for you as you write your comments.  Here are a few thoughts to choose from if needed:

1.  Share from the heart!
2.  Why do you love HOPE CCS?
3.  What are some personal experiences that they may be interested in knowing?
4.  Why are we an asset to the district?  For example-High Achievement, bring in families from outside district also, high expectations, safe and family oriented school, we partner with district and community organizations, we are top performers in Math, English/Language Arts, and Chinese annually, 
5.  We would love to build on our positive relationship with BSD.
6.  Our graduating students bring their global fluency skills and excel in Beaverton High Schools. 

7.  Our school supports the BSD World Language vision for the district.
8.  Our hope is that we see an increase in support from BSD to expand  MTSS (Multi Tiered Systems of Support) and Gifted services. 
9.  Fantastic staff that we would like to be able pay more and retain!
