Meet the Staff
Welcome to Mr Jaycee-Lee Maybe who is our Mathematics Intern this year.
"In pursuit of constant growth, with the aspiration to be the best educator I could, I find myself at Rustenburg Girls’ High School as a scholar recipient of the Teachers Plus Organisation (APT), a program driven by the real need to advance Mathematics education in South Africa, since 2012.
The APT Scholarship model is designed to create teachers who, from their first year of employment, are competent, confident and ready to add value to the teaching profession. Thus, building my teaching pedagogy and my mathematical methodology so that I may be the best educator to my students.
Currently, as the Maths Intern for the school, I found myself co-labouring with the Maths department of the school, observing lessons, helping with admin, teaching where I can, partnering with educators for extra Math classes and helping wtih Water Polo at the school. I look forward to my journey at RGHS!"
