Wonderful Wednesday to you, <<First Name>>!
The subject echoes not only a familiar Christmas song, but also something that we discussed during this past Sunday’s message. That, God doesn’t want you to get excited “after” His Word materializes – or you have it. But when you first hear from Him, He first gives you a promise of blessings. You have it…the answered prayer & fulfilled promises when you hear (believe & receive) it.
SO, do you hear what I hear? Do you hear the sounds of God’s presence and promises calling you to a deeper level of consecration, commitment & contribution to His will. To a new place in Him where He’s going to make your life a visible expression of His invisible reality. By doing what exceeds your prayers, past and plans.
YES, there’s a call from God, both individually and corporately for us to untie ourselves from the shores & shallows of life – our comfort. And fully entrust ourselves to God’s faithfulness and goodness. Knowing that our confidence in & obedience to God will not be a waste of time, expectation or ability.
<<First Name>>, I’m asking you to follow the sound of His word and voice to the deep. It’s where the fun is happening…it’s where God’s power is moving…it’s where your faith is leading you… it’s where you belong! Do you hear what I hear? Of course you do!

Baptism is a public declaration and celebration that you’ve decided to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Just as a wedding is a public display of love and commitment, baptism is a display of trusting your life to Him. It shows the world that your old life has ended and your new life with Him has begun!
