2023 AFMA Summit and Anual Meeting
MARCH 24th!

Join us for this Virtual event on March 24th, 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM. Enjoy a day dedicated to all things farmers market! This year we are excited to welcome so many guests including Ziona Brownlow as our Keynote Speaker, Tundra Tonics, Stellar Botanical, and Wildland Chocolate as our Guest Panel, Ben Feldman from Farmers Market Coalition as a guest speaker, and so many more incredible folks.

Pre Summit Movie Screening of Rhythms of the Land
MARCH 23rd!

To kick off our 2023 Summit, AFMA is hosting a Pre Summit Screening. Join us for Dr. Gail Myers', Rhythms of the Land, an ode to Black Farmers in the US. The screening will be held via zoom, Thursday March 23rd starting at 6:00 PM. This is a FREE screening but requires registration ahead of time.

Rhythms of the Land is a valentine to generations of black farmers in the United States from the enslavement period to the present, whose intense love of the land and dedication to community enabled them to survive against overwhelming odds.

AFMA is Launching a Market Match Program!

Attention SNAP authorized Farmers Markets and Farm Stands; AFMA has State funding to launch a Market Match Program. If you are currently a SNAP authorized market with a Food and Nutrition Services Number (FNS #) you can recieve funds and resources to match up to $40 per SNAP customer per market day!
