MEET BOARD MEMBER PAULINA VERGARI!
I am Paulina Vergari, owner of The Wine Vault with my husband Guthrie Bridge. We’ve always shared a passion for good wine and good food. We are surrounded by incredible wine in Sonoma County but quickly learned it was a little hard to access it. At our shop we carry wine from small producers that you won’t find at the grocery store, we like to call them “hidden gems of wine country.”
I grew up on Long Island, NY and I went to Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. I have a bachelors in Restaurant Food and Beverage Management. I’ve been working in the hospitality industry since high school and haven’t stopped since. I started in catering, interned with The Palm Steakhouse in Boston, and worked for a small fine dining restaurant in Newport, RI. After I graduated Guthrie and I planned our move to California. We went to Alaska to run a Bistro for the summer season and then drove to California over 3 months hitting as many national and state parks as we could. Guthrie’s knowledge of wine led us to settling in the Russian River Valley and we immediately fell in love with our home in Rio Nido.
I love working in downtown Guerneville and becoming a small business owner in this town has been amazing. By joining the chamber I want to help people enjoy this special area while also preserving it so we can continue sharing it for many years to come.
My fav color is purple, any shade! In our free time Guthrie and I love going to all of our west county towns for dates. We always find more and more beautiful things to enjoy out here!

Interested in volunteering for Seal Watch and assisting beachgoers by guiding interpretation of the Jenner harbor seal habitat, the largest on the Sonoma Coast? Heather Rowe, Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods Board Member, California Naturalist, and Seal Watch Coordinator, will host a volunteer training. Seal Watch volunteers are located at Goat Rock Beach near the harbor seal rookery (at the mouth of the Russian River) and the Jenner boat launch.
The training on 2/25/23 will be in-person beginning at Goat Rock Beach. Please contact Heather Rowe with any questions.
