PARTNER SPOTLIGHT: PLEDGE

We are proud to partner with Pledge to power the donation forms on our LA2050 Ideas Hub!
Pledge creates innovative fundraising technology that empowers people, companies, and nonprofits to support the causes they care about and uplift communities everywhere.
Thanks to Pledge, you can donate directly to nonprofits featured on our LA2050 Ideas Hub, a database of every application submitted to our LA2050 Grants Challenge over the past nine cycles. That's more than 1,750 organizations making Los Angeles better for all!
Since launching in 2019, with your donations and our matching, more than $120,000 has been donated through the Ideas Hub, including our annual Giving Tuesday campaign.

We are thrilled to announce that our LA2050 Grants Challenge initiative received a Silver Award at this year's Anthem Awards in the Local Awareness Campaign category! This is our second year to win, and we couldn't be happier.
Thank you, Anthem Awards, for this honor and for recognizing our people-powered grantmaking movement. And, thank YOU, our LA2050 community, for making this possible.

GABY HERNANDEZ | Executive Director, Long Beach Immigrant Rights Coalition
My favorite Los Angeles places and spaces...
PLAY: I love going to Rosie’s Dog Beach with my beloved dog Fuego, and I also bring him with me to the Queer Mercado whenever possible.
CREATE: Repotting new plants is one of my favorite hobbies, and I always get my plants from my local queer immigrant-owned plant shop, Plantiitas.
CONNECT: I enjoy connecting with friends and family over drinks and incredible food at Sazón in Huntington Park, an immigrant- and women-owned business.
LEARN: One of my favorite things to do is read, and I get my books from Page Against The Machine, a local independent bookstore. I’m currently reading No More Police by Mariame Kaba and Andrea Ritchie.
LIVE: I’m always excited to see new art, especially by undocumented and im/migrant artists, at the Museum of Latin American Art. It is free and open to the community every Sunday.
