Proposed changes to our term dates
We have launched a consultation process about a proposed change to the University’s term dates from the 2024-25 academic year, bringing forward the start of term by one week and moving the first day of the Autumn term to a Monday.

Extra security when you sign in
On Monday 27 February, Microsoft will enable a new feature called “MFA number matching”, which provides extra security if you use the
Microsoft Authenticator app to sign in. This new feature will ask you to approve your sign in request by entering a number shown on screen.

'Reading Robots' is a new research project aiming to gather experiences of reading the play, R.U.R., by Karel Čapek, which is the source of the word ‘robot’ in English. We are trying to gather insights from a range of readers with expertise in different subjects.
