1000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN
Reading is one of the most important skills a child can learn. Help your child become reading-ready by joining the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge! For every 100 books your child experiences before they start Kindergarten, we share a photo with the Hermes and Library Facebook Page. When they hit 1,000 books, we give them an educational workbook and they get their photo on the front page of the paper! To start logging books, pick up a reading log at the library.
