CrowdStrike Falcon is the New Antivirus Solution

Berkeley Lab IT is pleased to announce CrowdStrike Falcon has replaced Sophos as the Lab’s antivirus software. Sophos Antivirus will be discontinued by Sophos in July 2023. CrowdStrike is available now from software.lbl.gov. Reading time: 5 minutes

Zoom Rooms Overview

The IT Audio Visual Services group (AV) has built a standard with Zoom Rooms for all public conference rooms around the Lab. Zoom Rooms provide an integrated experience for audio conferencing, wireless screen sharing, and video conferencing. Gmail Multi-Send Mode

Multi-send mode for Gmail is a new mass mailing tool to help users send emails to large audiences. Instead of using a separate add-on like Yet Another Mail Merge (YAMM) to send bulk emails, multi-send mode is a built-in option for sending personalized emails and managing mailing lists entirely within the Google Workspace.
