This Sunday “How Jesus the Good Shepherd keeps you Secure”

When we accept that we are like sheep and Jesus is the Good Shepherd who was willing to sacrifice His life to protect the flock we start to understand how much our loving Savior cares for us. In John 10:27-28 Jesus says, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.” Come to Rockwell Church this Sunday to be encouraged to trust Jesus the Good Shepherd who wants us to experience peace and a full life.

Kids and adult Sunday School 9:00am this Sunday. We meet at 10:15am Sundays at 93 Midway Drive in Virginia, MN.

Care Team Needs Twin Size Bedding

The church Care Team has been working on fresh ways to help us connect with new people including giving visitors Rockwell Church filled with chocolate kisses.

They also want to find home for all the past Emmanuel Church cookbooks that are now on the give-away table in front of the church library. Maybe you would like to be on the Care Team.They connect with visitors, send out cards and oversee our church benevolent fund.

The Care Team is collecting gently used TWIN SIZE bedding (please no rips, holes or stains) for the new shelter in Hibbing. This shelter is a branch of Bill's House that is located in Virginia. They will have 50 beds once they open in April and have just started trying to get the word out to acquire bedding. They will have a bin for donations on Sunday and we will collect through the month of March. Please Jessica M if you have a donation and are not able to make it to church and we can arrange something. Thank you for thinking of this ministry as you begin spring cleaning!

Realm Update

Optional security setting for your Realm account.

You will need to logout and log back in now that they have made this update. Realm is our church communication and online giving program Realm’s latest release includes an optional security setting to make Realm more secure. You can now use your Google or Apple ID to log into Realm and set up 2-step verification. You can also continue to use your current login credentials.

Your Donation to Rockwell Church Helps Support Missions

When you give to the Rockwell Church “General Fund” (the one that covers all the church expenses) we send a portion of those donations to support missionaries and ministries in Latin America, to local Native American Ministries including Nett Lake, two pastors in Ukraine, Trout Lake Camp, Converge Church Health and Church Planting, InFaith Senior Citizen Ministries, Awana, Hispanic Ministires in the Twin Cities, Missionary Aviation and more.

Range Missions Conference Sunday March 12th

Churches participating include Rockwell Church, North Hope - Aurora, North Star Hibbing and Virginia, Cook Baptist and others. Event is host by Chisholm Baptist Church.

Church Membership

We would love to tell you about Rockwell Church, what we believe, what we are doing, where were headed and how you can get involved. To become a member you need to complete a short membership class, be able to share how you came to saving faith in Jesus, have been baptized as a believer (infant baptism isn’t the same) and agree to our church membership covenant Click link https://rockwell.church/church-covenant/

Church members are the foundation of our church family. We maintain an active membership list and add and remove people as requested, when they stop attending (in person or online/cable TV) or when they are no longer living in accordance with our church covenant. You can also transfer your church membership from a church like ours or you can request that we send a letter of transfer to another church for you.

Let’s all work to help keep the church clean. Our church custodian is recovering from a stroke and we don’t know when she will return. The Properties Team is overeeing the custodial work and it will be much easier for them if we all work together to help keep our church clean
