Fisher Center Tour, Reception, and Opera

This is a reminder that on Sunday, March 5, the Sosnoff Theater at the Fisher Center will host LLI members for a backstage tour, a champagne reception, and a semi-staged performance of the light opera Iolanthe. The New York Times described the opera as “a madcap Victorian fairytale, rife with merriment.” The 3 pm performance will feature The Orchestra Now (TŌN) as conducted by TŌN Associate Conductor James Bagwell, directed by Emily Cuk, and sung by students from the Bard Conservatory Graduate Vocal Arts Program.

You may register for part or all of this event. LLI members will receive a 20% discount for tickets to the performance. Purchase tickets direct from Fisher Center using the link "Purchase Tickets" near the bottom of this email.

LLI members register on ProClass for the backstage tour of the Fisher Center, which begins at 1 pm and concludes at 2 pm. Log in to ProClass, then under Semester, select "Events 2022-23" and press search. Select "Fisher Center Tour" and follow the prompts. You will receive a confirmation once your registration is complete. Nonmember “plus ones” register with Robert at <ringlish@lli.bard.edu> no later than March 1. Limit of 50 persons.

LLI members register for the champagne reception in the LUMA Lobby of Fisher Center, which begins at 2 pm and concludes at 2:45 pm. Log in to ProClass, then under Semester, select "Events 2022-23" and press search. Select "Reception After Fisher Center Tour" and follow the prompts. You will receive a confirmation once your registration is complete. Nonmember “plus ones” register with Robert at <ringlish@lli.bard.edu> no later than March 1.

If you cannot attend the afternoon performance of Iolanthe on March 5, you may view a livestream performance the night before, Saturday, March 4, at 7 pm. Register for the livestream using the link below and pay what you wish. You will receive an email with the livestream link.
