Curated by Marisa Maher, the exhibition features new collaborative artworks by 15 Iltja Ntjarra artists and their family members alongside a selection of paintings by Albert Namatjira from the National Gallery of Australia collection. 

Through watercolour landscapes, painted artifacts, drawings, and stories on silk, their artworks examine family connections using Aboriginal knowledge systems and explore how families are connected through history, place, community, and Dreaming. 

Artists Hubert Pareroultja, Mervyn Rubuntja, Selma Coulthard and Vanessa Inkamala  were in the Southern Highlands, NSW for the opening. Thanks to Bruce Johnson McLean, Barbara Jean Humphreys Assistant Director at the NGA for moving opening speech and for the Gundungurra custodians for the warm welcome.
