Friends of Stevens Creek Trail and Bike Sunnyvale co-authored a letter to Council in January with our recommendations regarding the Stevens Creek Extension.
We enthusiastically endorse the overall design of the trail, but have safety concerns about the landings at Fremont Avenue, which would require users to cross traffic entering or exiting Highway 85. We endorse the idea of two landings at Fremont, one on each side of Highway 85, as the 2015 Feasibility study suggests and City Council endorsed at that time.
