This Sunday guest preacher Mike MacNeil will continue with week 4 of Lent. Mike is the Program Director and Associate Professor of Evangelism & Compassion Ministry at Kingswood University, and we're very excited to welcome him back to Crosspoint.

Pre-Service Prayer Time
During this season we're gathering weekly for a pre-service prayer time at 9:15 AM.
This weekly time of prayer is open to everyone, and there is no need to bring anything other than yourself as we gather to pray together for our church and its leadership, our city, and our world. We will celebrate praise reports, and also spend time in intercession on behalf of the requests brought by those in attendance.

Alpha
WHERE DO YOU GO TO ASK THE BIG QUESTIONS OF LIFE?
Alpha is an opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment.
Alpha includes a series of 11 interactive sessions where there is no pressure, no follow up and no charge. Each session will include a time to connect, a video "talk," and a time for discussion.
Crosspoint is hosting an Alpha course on Wednesdays at 6 PM from April 19 through June 28. (+ Saturday, June 3 from 9 AM - 4 PM)
There are three ways to get involved with Alpha:
Invite your friends, neighbours and family members and then attend with them.
Volunteer for setup and teardown, check-in, table discussion hosts, and meal preparation. There are many ways to serve at Alpha.
Pray for those serving and most importantly for those who will attend. Pray that there will be meaningful and eternal conversations about the gospel and that God would use this course to change lives.

Hearing God Workshop | Apr 2
We've invited Pastor Anthony Moore from King's Church to share an exciting and important topic with us on Sunday, April 2 at 6 PM. Hearing God is a workshop in which Pastor Anthony will help us learn how to recognize and hear God's voice. Everyone is welcome!
About Anthony
Anthony Moore is the Associate Pastor of Pastoral and Prophetic Ministry at Kings Church. His strong desire is to see believers discover, and be activated in, all the ways that the Holy Spirit speaks. He very much loves to see people encounter the Holy Spirit in unmistakable ways and to see them fall in love with Jesus all over again for the first time.

Good Friday Service | Apr 7
Join us at 10 AM on Good Friday, April 7, for our annual Good Friday service. This will be a contemplative service during which we will worship in music, partake in communion, and corporately and personally ponder the final days of Christ's life through the reading of scripture from the gospel of Mark.
This service will be held in-person only.

CP Kids Easter Egg Hunt | Apr 8
Calling all CP Kids and easter egg enthusiasts!
We are hosting a good old-fashioned easter egg hunt from 10 AM - 12 PM on Saturday, April 8. There will be 1000 eggs hidden around our campus just waiting for your children ages 0 - 11 years to find them. Egg hunters are asked to bring their own Easter baskets.
We hope you'll join us for this morning of fun and fellowship.
If you're able/interested in helping to provide the necessary materials and resources required for this event, there are signup sheets at the HELLO desk and/or please send an email to kids@crosspointchurch.ca.

Easter Services | Apr 9
We are celebrating Easter this year with two worship services on Sunday, April 9. We'll gather at 9 AM and 11 AM to worship our risen King and Saviour, Jesus Christ. (The service will also be available online at 9 AM)

Baptisms
Both of our Easter worship services will provide an opportunity for baptism. If you are a follower of Jesus and have never taken this step to publicly profess your faith, this is your next step!
We'd love to baptize you on Easter Sunday as we gather to acknowledge the sacrifice Christ made on our behalf.

Lent Bible Reading Plan
Crosspoint is officially on the YouVersion Bible App!
Once you have the YouVersion Bible app installed, simply follow the QR code above to find us and then choose "Set As My Church."
We're using the app during the season of Lent to read scripture together daily for 40 days as we prepare for Easter.
Our featured Lent reading plan began on Ash Wednesday but it's not too late to participate if you haven't started yet.
