Temerty Medicine Giving Day

Tuesday, March 28, 2023

Sent on behalf of the Office of Advancement, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto

On March 28th, the Temerty Faculty of Medicine community will be joining peers from across the university in celebrating the very first U of T Giving Day.

The power of philanthropy is on display everywhere you turn at Temerty Medicine and benefits every one of us — learners, researchers, clinicians, and staff members, in every department, division and program.

On Giving Day, we’ll gather together to recognize the extraordinary impact philanthropy has on our work advancing health and health care, and to offer our collective thanks to our generous supporters (many of whom are Temerty Medicine faculty and staff members!)

Here’s how you can join in Temerty Medicine’s Giving Day celebrations:

  • Consider making a gift to Temerty Medicine. We welcome and celebrate donations of any amount, to any Temerty Medicine research or education initiative. Giving Day has also unlocked an exciting matching opportunity. Thanks to matches from both U of T and Temerty Medicine, gifts made before March 28th to our Giving Day priority fund — the new James and Louise Temerty Building — will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
  • Drop by a special Giving Day event being organized by the Office of Advancement near the donor wall at MSB any time between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on March 28th. It will be a great opportunity to come together as a community while enjoying some fun activities (photobooth! cookies!)
  • Spread the word by sharing the impact philanthropy has on you or your work. If posting to social media, be sure to use the hashtag #UofTGivingDay and tag @uoftmedicine
