Save the Date—Explore JPL Event is April 29–30
The event, from April 29–30, is free, but timed tickets are required and limited. Caltech community students, staff, faculty, and postdocs will have the ability to access a limited number of tickets that are being set aside for members of the Caltech community. These tickets must be reserved in advance, beginning at 9 a.m. PDT on Sunday, April 2, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. A dedicated reservation link for members of the Caltech community will be sent out in the days ahead.
CrowdStrike AntiVirus for Managed Computing
The antivirus software, designed to mitigate modern computer and network threats, will be installed for all managed computing customers on March 23.
Graduate Students Invited to Enter Three Minute Thesis Competition
Caltech Library is hosting the Three Minute Thesis competition on April 25. This contest challenges all currently enrolled graduate students to explain their research in an engaging and clear three-minute talk intended for a nonspecialist audience. The deadline to apply is March 22.
Volleyball League Registration Now Open
Registration is open through April 2. Games will be held every Wednesday from April 5 to May 31 from 7–9 p.m., and the league is open to all those who are eligible for gym membership.
