Save the Date—Explore JPL Event is April 29–30
The event, from April 29–30, is free, but timed tickets are required and limited. Caltech community students, staff, faculty, and postdocs will have the ability to access a limited number of tickets that are being set aside for members of the Caltech community. These tickets must be reserved in advance, beginning at 9 a.m. PDT on Sunday, April 2, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. A dedicated reservation link for members of the Caltech community will be sent out in the days ahead.
CAEL Seeks Donations for Professional Clothing Drive
CAEL and the Caltech Y are hosting a professional clothing drive through the end of March to enable students to confidently dress for success in their career journey, whether at their first interview or first job.
CrowdStrike AntiVirus for Managed Computing
The antivirus software, designed to mitigate modern computer and network threats, will be installed for all managed computing customers on March 23.
Order Academic Regalia for Commencement
Faculty can order academic regalia—cap, gown, tassel, and hood—at the Caltech Store through March 31. The regalia will be available for pickup at the Caltech Store from June 1 through June 15 by 5:30 p.m.
Application Deadline for Explorer Grant Proposals Is April 18
Resnick Sustainability Institute Explorer Grants of up to $150,000 over two years are available for proposals that prioritize research that addresses significant challenges and opportunities associated with climate change and the stewardship of natural resources.
Volleyball League Registration Now Open
Registration is open through April 2. Games will be held every Wednesday from April 5 to May 31 from 7–9 p.m., and the league is open to all those who are eligible for gym membership.
