Calysta Jackson “CJ” has been selected as Outstanding Female Student-Athlete of the Year.
- 4 year letters in Volleyball, Basketball and Soccer.
- Positions: Setter, guard and defender.
- Overall GPA 3.41.
Calysta “CJ,” is selected as this year’s Outstanding Female Athlete at Abraham Lincoln High School for many reasons. Her commitment to academic and athletic excellence represent only a part of who she is and who she will become in the future. We are so proud of your CJ!

Big shoutout to our Track team!!
In the girls' 800m Sprint Medley relay, the team of Evony Fields, Rhiannon Stancil, Gradie Kabeya, and J'leah Fields placed first, beating out Northfield and George Washington. Evony and Rhiannon held their own until Gradie brought the team into 1st during her 200m leg of the relay. J'Leah held off girls from Northfield and North who were closing in on her to maintain first place.
In the girls 4x200m Relay, Evony Fields, Amina Abdikadir, Jleah Fields, and Gradie Kabeya placed 3rd out of 17 teams.

On March 11th our Lancer Robotics Team participated in the SeaPerch Challenge and earned Second Place!
Our students in Advance Robotics have been working on building the Seaperch robot following design protocol by identifying a problem, brainstorming a solution, identifying the best solution, building a prototype, testing it, and then redesigning it, since the beginning of the second semester.
The SeaPerch is an underwater robot, or a submersible, that has a mission to carry out a number of actions by a student driver. The students were responsible for planning out and controlling the flow of the project; this required grit, creativity, and teamwork.

Un gran saludo a nuestro equipo de atletismo!!
En el relevo Sprint Medley de 800 m para niñas, el equipo de Evony Fields, Rhiannon Stancil, Gradie Kabeya y J'leah Fields obtuvo el primer lugar, superando a Northfield y George Washington. Evony y Rhiannon se mantuvieron firmes hasta que Gradie llevó al equipo al primer lugar durante su tramo de 200 m del relevo. J'Leah mantuvo a raya a las chicas de Northfield y North que se acercaban a ella para mantener el primer lugar.
En el relevo femenino de 4x200 m, Evony Fields, Amina Abdikadir, Jleah Fields y Gradie Kabeya ocuparon el tercer lugar entre 17 equipos.

¡El 11 de marzo, nuestro equipo de Lancer Robotics participó en el SeaPerch Challenge y obtuvo el segundo lugar!
Nuestros estudiantes de Advance Robotics han estado trabajando en la construcción del robot Seaperch siguiendo el protocolo de diseño mediante la identificación de un problema, una lluvia de ideas sobre una solución, la identificación de la mejor solución, la construcción de un prototipo, la prueba y luego el rediseño, desde el comienzo del segundo semestre.
El SeaPerch es un robot submarino, o un sumergible, que tiene la misión de llevar a cabo una serie de acciones por parte de un estudiante de conducción. Los estudiantes fueron responsables de planificar y controlar el flujo del proyecto; esto requería agallas, creatividad y trabajo en equipo.
