PRAYER ROOM during LENT
This year for Lent, we are encouraging a slowed down spirituality, with intentional time in quietness and prayer. We are offering a 40-Day Prayer Room that provides this still and sacred space. The rooms also offer interactive prayer stations to walk through individually or together as home groups or families. It is self-paced. The room will be open:
- Monday-Thursday from 10am-4pm
- Monday, Thursday, and Friday evenings 7-9pm
- Saturdays 8-11am
- Sundays following the morning worship service
On weekdays, enter through the church office door. For evenings and Saturdays, enter through the single door on the west side of the building by the fence. Any additional questions or requests for another time, please contact Judy Duncan.

We are hosting this special event on Saturday, April 29 from 10 am -2 pm for $10 per person. Registration deadline is March 31. This is a day led by our own Midwest District of the C&MA! International Worker Focus
Let's lift up Joel & Kristen Cagwin serving with Alliance Missions Thailand/Germany
Joel and Kristen Cagwin serve with the C&MA as Member Care Professionals for Alliance workers. In this role, they care for the wellness of other international workers so they can thrive in their callings and continue to proclaim the name of Jesus where they are planted.
In July 2022, they transitioned from Germany to Thailand for a one year practicum and internship required for Kristen to complete her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in August. She is working as a counseling intern at Cornerstone Christian Foundation, located in Chiang, Mai, Thailand. Cornerstone is well-known in the world of counseling for providing excellent care for people in overseas ministry. Joel provides clinical counseling supervision at The Well (another counseling center for missionaries), is a C&MA Member Care professional, logistics coordinator for the Cagwin children and family chef this year.
Please pray for the following with Joel and Kristen:
- For Kristen to have wisdom and discernment for how best to come alongside her clients.
- For Joel as he balances his responsibilities and has travel this spring for Member Care.
- For them to finish this year well in Thailand, for a restorative 3-month home assignment this summer and a smooth transition back to Germany in August.

Live
John 11:18-44
Pastor Mitch Kim
Sometimes Jesus doesn’t do what we ask. Why? In John 11, Jesus does not do what Mary and Martha ask. He does not visit when Lazarus is sick, as requested, and Lazarus dies. Yet in the midst of unanswered prayer Jesus is doing something even greater. We see in this passage, Jesus invites faith amidst the tears that we might see the glory of God.
