Yesterday Midlands Technical College cut the ribbon and formally opened the new Center for Business and Information Technologies. The four-story, 58,245-square-foot facility on the Beltline Campus will support workforce development for Lexington, Richland, and Fairfield counties. It is the home to some of the college’s most in-demand programs and represents a $30M capital investment.

Boeing and Saudi Arabian Airlines announced the national flag-carrier will grow its long-haul fleet with the selection of up to 49 787 Dreamliners. SAUDIA is set to purchase 39 787s, with a further 10 options, utilizing the outstanding efficiency, range and flexibility of the Dreamliner to sustainably grow its global operation. The 787 Dreamliner is manufactured in Charleston, SC.
