Dear all,

Last week, COFACE Families Europe celebrated International Women's Rights Day by putting a spotlight on single motherhood and the pressing need for policies that ensure no family is left behind. While single motherhood does not automatically mean vulnerability, statistics and testimonies show that this status puts women at increased risk of poverty and social exclusion. You can read the full statement here.

As the end of 2022 marked the fifth anniversary of the Proclamation of the European Pillar of Social Rights, in 2023 we must continue to work together to strengthen social protection and create a more inclusive society.
