Celebrating Women all Month (YEAR) Long
20 Female Artists You Need to Know | By Ariana Marsh and Kat Widing
Harper's Bazaar
Published 2020

"Brush up on your history and get to know the women who have changed the art world forever. A seminal figure of American Modernism, in 1915 Georgia O'Keeffe was one of the very first American artists to produce a purely abstract work of art, in contrast to the dominant movement of American realism."

2023 ARTS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE
COURSE INFORMATION
There’s a fundraising project on the horizon…what happens now?

As non-profits, we all want to do work that has impact–but we need to fund this work. One avenue involves direct appeals. Whether this is your first time fundraising for a project, or you want to inject a new spark into your ongoing annual fund, learn more about ways to develop financial support for your important work.

Attendees will come away with a helpful workbook, as well as the tools to define your project and campaign budget, craft and tell its story, and how to make that first ask, creating a connection with purpose.

To receive the Monthly Arts Reader, please update your email preferences using the link below! By doing so, it ensures you will receive the Monthly Arts Reader every first Friday of the month! Past Monthly Arts Readers have included focus on: Arts in Health, Board Development, Arts in Education and Arts & Humanities and welcoming the end of another year and plan ahead for a new year to begin.
UPDATE YOUR ARTS ORGANIZATION:

We’re continuing to streamline and expand our Arts Organization Directory and want to make sure we have the most up to date information. In addition to helping others find you, next year there will be a survey of arts non-profits impacts and work in South Dakota as a part of the Arts & Economic Prosperity Study 6. Thank you for helping us to promote all the wonderful creative arts work happening in South Dakota!

Please take a few moments to confirm we have everything correct and most current for your organization.
