Dear Faith Family,
Happy St. Patrick’s Day. I love this holiday because I get to wear a ton of my favorite color, green. As I walk around covered in green with my red hair, I feel like a leprechaun.  In all seriousness, we can learn a thing or two from St. Patrick. Many of you know the story how he was born in Britain in the 4th century, kidnapped as a teenager, and brought to Ireland as a slave. For 6 years his job was to shepherd flocks’ day after day. He would later escape and then return to Ireland as a missionary bringing the Word of God to the people there. He saw a need for the Gospel in Ireland and sought to make Christ known to those who enslaved him. He faced a lot of opposition and persecution but continued to trust in the Lord in difficult times. We may not face the same type of persecution that he faced or like many of our brothers and sisters around the world face today, but we can learn from the life of St. Patrick that no matter what comes our way, we should strive to be faithful to what God calls us to do. It may be as simple as showing love to your neighbor, inviting that friend of yours to join your life group, or your hairstylist to church. There are many ways we can reflect Christ in our day to day. This St. Patrick’s Day let’s be reminded of what St. Patrick did and try to do the same thing, make Christ known.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (AAEO) is the primary way Southern Baptists fund missions in North America. One hundred percent of gifts given to AAEO go to the field to support more than 2,400 missionary families serving across the United States and Canada.

Gifts to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering are used to train and resource missionaries in church planting and compassion ministries. Gifts are also used to create evangelism resources. New churches are being planted, hurts are being healed and lives are being transformed by the gospel because you give.

For more information about the AAEO, please click here.
You can give to the AAEO by giving directly (click HERE) or by giving through the church (click HERE).
