3. The progress of Wild about Worcester Way

Just a reminder of why we are creating the Wild about Worcester Way. As a charity we have three main aims: (a) To enhance the biodiversity of Worcester and environs (b) help residents understand and (c) connect with nature. This new route will play a central part in all three of these aims.

  1. We are launching the route on Saturday 13th May at Worcester Woods Country Park. Watch this space for more information about this exciting event.

  2. The way marking has got off to a flying start with many way markers already going up all along the Wild about Worcester. Have you seen any of them yet, <<First Name>>? We even got in the Worcester news.

  3. We have had the most amazing offer of help from Ringway Worcestershire who are going to be installing many of the way markers for free. A big thank you.

  4. Our amazing WEG wood carving volunteers have started carving the beautiful images on the way marker posts of the winners of the primary school art competition. Thank you to all the special volunteers who have made this possible.

  5. You should soon see two information boards along the River Severn with information about these 15 informative videos about the nature we all love along that stretch of the Wild about Worcester Way. Have you seen them yet?

  6. We have so many amazing new volunteers helping to create maps and content for the Wild about Worcester Way. A big thank you to them too.
