Kia ora <<First Name>>

Wow – Rotorua was treated to two fantastic free events on the Village Green last weekend! On Saturday Lakeside celebrated their 25th anniversary with a great line up of musicians and a special fireworks display. If you attended please provide your feedback. ➡️

On Sunday all six Te Arawa Te Matatini groups were showcased in a special concert entitled Waipuketia Ki Te Aroha - Flood Them With Love. The weather played ball for both events, the performances were incredible and the community came together to raise funds for some great charities.

In case you missed it - Rotorua Mayor Tania Tapsell announced her pregnancy last week, updating the community that she and husband Kanin are expecting a baby girl in June. Mayor Tapsell expressed that she feels blessed to be taking up the roles of both Mayor and Mother and is looking forward to raising her daughter in Rotorua.

It’s Global Recycling Day this Saturday and we’re hosting a free, all ages event at the Recycling Centre detailing waste reduction, touring the collection truck and facilities and getting crafty with recyclables - view full event details.
