Hi Everyone,
The Annual Club Hill Climb is scheduled for Sunday 2 April and we'll be using notorious Maungakawa once again for this year's event. The hill climb is a time trial with riders starting at one minute intervals. The Under 13's and 15's will start first followed by the U17's and then senior riders.
Many thanks to Daniel and Sarah Barnett who have allowed us to use their driveway (9 Fencourt Rd) for registration as this is close to the start line. Rego will be open at 9.45 am and closes at 10.15 am with the first rider leaving at 10.30 am.
We're not taking pre-registrations so just turn up on the day (prior to 10.15 am) with your climbing legs and entry fee - $2 for Juniors and $5 for Graded riders.

To avoid traffic congestion please park on the wide grass verges around the Fencourt Rd / Maungakawa Rd intersection or even near St Kilda and bike to rego.
There are trophies for this event (Under 13, Under 15, Under 17, Under 19, Women, Open Men and Over 50's) - these will be officially awarded at the Winter Series Prizegiving. If you have a Hill Climb trophy (sitting proudly on your shelf), could you please return it to us ASAP.
As a club, we do our best to cater for all abilities, ages, genders and now sizes.... we realise that hauling a few extra kgs up Maungakawa is a challenge so there's a special award for the 100+ kg riders (that includes you and YOUR bike) in the club! Should you wish to be considered for this prestigious award, Marc will bring his set of scales on the day just to ensure you are actually eligible for this category!
