Dear parents/carers,
This is a 'heads up' message. We need you to be aware that the rivers around the school are high this morning, and parts of the roads near the school have started to flood.
We are not making the call to shut the school (yet) but we are monitoring the situation very closely. Currently, there is some capacity left in the rivers so there is no need for panic.
The BBC is forecasting the rain to stop; in which case we'll be ok, but the Met Office is forecasting the rain to continue; in which case the roads may flood and we have to close early.
Please keep an eye on your dojo messages and emails and make sure you've got (mobile) phone signal so we can keep you updated on the situation. A quick response will tell us that you have received this message.
