Hello, Everyone!

February Teach-In Update

Last month, we had a teach-in hosted by Kokila on Abolition and Transformative Justice. While we didn't receive the turn-out we were hoping for, the session was engaging and everyone walked away with a deeper understanding of these concepts, and how they look and apply to our daily lives.

If you were unable to attend the previous session, please click the button below to catch up on it through the recording.

Please bear in mind that the teach-ins are a core commitment for all members, as they are designed to educate ourselves on key areas that concern TJC’s vision and work.

April Teach-In Reminder: 29th April, 2-5PM

The April teach-in on 'What Does it Mean to be an Organiser' will be hosted by Kokila and Jolovan, and will be taking place on the 29th of April, from 2-5PM. This session will focus on the differences between being an activist, advocate and community organiser. It will also explore the challenges one might face in organising the community in a Singaporean context, and teach you how to get past them and begin your journey or strengthen you as a community organiser.

Click the button to register your attendance. The document also has the Zoom details, and a deeper explanation about teach-ins as a whole.
